This gorgeous statement enamel pendant necklace is a real unioque short necklace.
It is completed with several freshwater pearls on see through string or repurposed organic cotton strings of your choice.
The WHALE is individually designed, hand cut with a piercing saw out of pure copper, domed with numerous doming irons, soldered, filed and sanded. 
Once the center piece of the necklace got cut out I file it to make its edges smooth than it gets its final several enamel layers fired on to reach its shiny glass surface.

This necklace comes with a lightweight invisible chain on the picture set with severeal white freshwater pearls.

The centre piece pendant measures approximately 18 cm in width.
Enamelling process has been used for hundreds of years. The enamel artist uses finely grinder glass what is being burned on a copper, silver or gold piece in a very special oven called kiln, applying several layers depending on the colour. Every colour is getting individually fired in a 900 degree kiln, than dusted and fired again 2-3 times to achieve this magically uneven colours what characterise every enamel jewellery.

Every piece of enamel jewellery is a piece of art. They develop their colours organically, hence they are unique, and can never be duplicated.
